TO HELP THEMSELVES

„Cotton made in Africa“ is a project of the Aid by Trade Foundation, which was founded in 2005. Its goal is to provide sustainable support for small farmers in Africa. They receive help so they can help themselves and cultivate their cotton more efficiently as well as in a way that is easier on the environment. At the same time the project guarantees fair work conditions such as set working hours, appropriate compensation, the protection of the health and safety of the staff as well as a prohibition of child labour.

Since the responsible production of its fashion is important to H·I·S, we support "Cotton made in Africa". We thus satisfy the standard of social responsibility which we apply to our suppliers and of course to ourselves as well.

As a H·I·S customer you, too, participate in this sustainability effort and can feel good about wearing contemporary fashion. And what is best: our jeans, which are produced in high quality and under fair conditions, are hardly more expensive than normal jeans.
